Aurecon has appointed Neil Proud as the company’s new Ports Leader to lead the company’s bulk handing ports design capability into the shipping container and general cargo market sectors.

 

David Ness, Aurecon Service Group Leader, Transport Services said: “Neil’s expertise and experience in the planning and operation of cargo and container terminals will assist clients to access Aurecon’s extensive port and marine design skills with the added confidence of knowing our entire team fully understands the practical operational requirements of a commercial port site.”

 

Mr Proud, a trained civil engineer, has worked extensively in the abroad market, including the USA, South Korea, Panama, Burma, China, Vietnam and Singapore.

 

“My passion lies within the container ports arena where I can utilise my experience to successfully plan and deliver major projects with a point of difference that satisfies client requirements,” Mr Proud said.
