The primary objective of this role is to ensure Council’s Digital Transformation Program is delivered within the agreed scope, time and budget requirements. This role will work in a complementary manner with the Benefits Manager role that is primarily responsible for overseeing effective change management and benefits realisation.

Mandatory requirements:

• Relevant degree in project management, information technology or other relevant qualification.
• Demonstrated experience in planning and delivering innovative technology-related programs and projects in accordance with documented governance frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability in managing relationships within and across an organisation, including people who are impacted by change.
• Demonstrated experience in integrating change management into delivery of both complex and simple projects.
• Excellent communication and engagement skills and experience in using facilitation techniques to embed change.
• Demonstrated experience in the procurement and contract management of software and other IT vendors.
