We are looking for a dynamic and visionary leader to drive organisation performance across Council through business improvement, change, culture and leadership. Reporting to the Director Business Transformation, you will deliver strategic outcomes through the skilful translation of the LEAN methodology into the local government context and leadership of the Business Improvement team.

You will advance our program of development, integration and support toward a constructive culture that is aligned to our corporate values. An experienced change agent, you will provide organisational leadership for our approach to change.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Be a progressive leader with a collaborative approach
  • Have superior communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Possess relevant tertiary qualifications in organisational development or a related discipline (highly regarded)
  • Be qualified in Change First or a similar accreditation (highly regarded)
  • Demonstrate experience in delivery of successful business improvement, continuous improvement or organisational change programs and in analysing and evaluating organisational and business issues
  • Be Lean/ Six Sigma accredited (highly regarded)
