Based in Colac, within two hours of Melbourne, Colac Otway Shire offers some of the most picturesque scenery in the state. The Colac Otway Shire encompasses coastline, rainforests, waterfalls and lakes with a total land area of 3,250 square kilometres, of which a large proportion is State Forest and National Park, including beaches, and craters. An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced professional to join Council’s Senior Management Team.

We seek an outstanding leader with a proven record in developing and implementing strategies to grow regional economies in collaboration with the Council, the community, private sector, industry bodies and all tiers of government.

Motivated, successful and highly credible, you will develop strategy, drive initiatives, lead a dynamic team and foster a customer focus to service delivery. With a demonstrated values based leadership approach and extensive experience, you will be outcome focused with the ability to work broadly across the organisation and manage complex stakeholder relationships.
